Rhythm Rollers' first release introduced a collaboration between UK drum & bass heavyweight Stormin and MC NEAT with "Bad Bassline" — a track that brought together the energy and influence of multiple UK scenes.

Known for his work within the legendary drum & bass collective SASASAS, Stormin had already built a reputation as one of the scene’s most recognisable voices, bringing his unique delivery and stage presence to audiences worldwide.

Featuring MC NEAT, the track blends elements of drum & bass, UK garage, house and grime, reflecting the evolution of the MC culture that shaped UK underground music.

"Bad Bassline" captures the connection between generations — from the early Pure Garage era through to the modern sound — showcasing how MCs became storytellers, performers and a defining part of UK music culture.

A landmark release for Rhythm Rollers, "Bad Bassline" marked the beginning of the label’s journey.
