Hitman teams up with Scorcher for “NEVER DAT”, a focused UK rap collaboration that brings together sharp lyricism, confident delivery and stripped-back production built around raw energy and attitude.

The instrumental leans into a dark, bass-led foundation, giving both artists space to deliver direct, uncompromising verses. Rather than relying on big hooks or polished crossover moments, the track stays rooted in bars, presence and rhythm.

Scorcher brings his trademark control and authority on the mic, cutting through the beat with his recognisable flow, while Hitman matches that intensity with a tight, disciplined performance that keeps the record moving forward. The chemistry between them feels natural, with neither stepping out of pocket or overcomplicating the approach.

At just over two minutes, “NEVER DAT” is concise and to the point, built for replay value rather than extended structure. Every section feels intentional, keeping the energy consistent from start to finish.

With its stripped-back production and confident vocal performances, NEVER DAT sits firmly in the lane of modern UK rap that prioritises clarity, presence and impact over excess.
