UK drum & bass mainstay Dynamite MC teams up once again with legendary producer Roni Size for a new single titled “Simple Things”, a stripped-back but deeply focused release that leans into the core essence of their long-standing musical connection.

The track continues a creative partnership that stretches back decades through Roni Size & Reprazent, where Dynamite MC became one of the defining voices of the Bristol drum & bass movement. This new release feels like a distillation of that history — less about reinvention, more about refinement.

Built around Roni Size’s signature rolling breakbeat architecture, “Simple Things” keeps the production tight and minimal, allowing Dynamite MC’s delivery to sit right at the front of the mix. The result is a track that feels intentional and direct, driven by groove rather than excess.

Rather than chasing modern trends or crossover appeal, the single stays rooted in the live energy and musicality both artists are known for — that blend of hip-hop cadence, jungle pressure, and sound system awareness that defined their early work together.

For Dynamite MC, it’s another strong addition to a run of recent releases that continue to show his relevance across both classic and modern DnB spaces. For Roni Size, it reinforces his ongoing presence as one of the genre’s foundational architects still actively shaping new music.

“Simple Things” doesn’t overcomplicate anything — it locks into a groove and lets it breathe.

Sometimes that’s all you need.
